Our Decision to Adopt

We both have ALWAYS wanted to have children. Both of us have worked toward this our whole lives. While dating we always talked about how we both would like to have kids, and how we want to be good parents in every aspect. When we got married we found out that both of us have infertility issues. We have felt that it is heavenly's father's way of leading us to an amazing opportunity of adoption.  We know that it does not matter how our children come to us . Adoption really is about love. We feel that with our child having a birth family and a adoptive family, that is just all the more love that child gets to have through our their life. Families are forever and we know that our family is in the Lord's hands!

We honestly did not know how many blessings come with adoption. I could not imagine life with out our little Logan and all the joy that he brings. I know that will be the same with any child that we have the opportunity to raise. One of the most beautiful things about Logan's adoption is who he comes from. I love that he has a birth family. I love that he knows so many people love him. I love that I get to share motherhood with Logan's birth mom. We share a respect that I can't really express through words. Adoption is beautiful! Birth families are beautiful people! I strongly believe that Birth parents understand the Atonement more than any one on this earth. I really can't fathom your strength and your unselfishness. Mike and I pray for you daily and love you so much!
