We both grew up in the same city , went to the same high school, the same stake, and even hung out in the same houses. We always knew of each other, but it wasn't until we were going to college that we started dating.
We lived four hours away from each other, so most of our pre-marriage dating consisted of one of us traveling to see the other. We talked on the phone every night at 9:00. We both believe that this was a good start, because we got to know each other through communicating over the phone.Every moment we had together, we cherished. We dated for 6 months, then Mike moved closer and then got married a couple months later in the Bountiful L.D.S Temple. Our wedding day WAS PERFECT, and beautiful!
Two and a half years later we were able to adopt our sweet little boy Logan. Being parents is better than we could have imagined. We have been blessed to have had an open adoption with Logan's amazing birth families. We love them dearly. Logan is such an outgoing funny little guy. He has such determination and is so social. He is constantly exploring and just talking. He has brought so much joy and happines into our lives and he is constantly making us laugh.
We honestly do everything together. Even though grocery shopping is sometimes a daunting task, we still make it fun experience. We like to sneak things into the shopping cart with out the other person realizing. Even though we like to do things like snuggle up as a family and watch a movie, we also love to be around family and friends and just playing competitive or active games together.We both Love to be active. Together we love to go play basketball at the park, go on walks, throw a football.
We love to do things outdoors. We wish that it was summer or spring all year round. We would be happy if we lived by a lake and mountains the rest of our lives.
